The "War Years" - I was in the Navy 1963-1967?. Home ported in Mayport Florida the first two years
aboard the USS McCaffery DD860 and the second two years aboard the USS Harwood DD861. Sailed through
the Kiel Canel in Germany in 1964 on the DD860. It's interesting to note that during my "war years" we
were only attacked by flying fish. In this photo I may have been above the bridge or on the fantail -
can't remember.
